This policy describes data processing on cigarettecounter.app. The iPhone and iPad app has its own privacy policy, linked at the end of this page.
Browsing and hosting
The hosting service receives the technical data needed to deliver the page, such as your IP address, request date and time, and information sent by your browser. These data may appear in server access and security logs.
The purposes are to serve the website, keep it secure and diagnose issues. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in operating and protecting the site. The website is hosted by Webempresa, which may access these data as needed to provide the hosting service; disclosure to authorities may also be required by law.
Calculators and your inputs
Calculations run in your browser. This website’s code does not send to the server or store in cookies or persistent storage the smoking amounts, prices, goals or dates you enter. There are no user accounts or registration forms.
Measurement and App Store links
We do not embed Google Analytics, advertising pixels or session recording tools. We consult search performance statistics through Google Search Console without installing tracking code on this website.
App Store buttons include the shared campaign label “web”. Following these links takes you away from this website, and Apple handles browsing and attribution under its own terms. The link does not contain your calculator inputs. Other external links also lead to services with their own policies.
Enquiries and retention
If you email hola@miguelpg.com, we use your email address and the content of your message to reply. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in answering your enquiry.
We keep messages for as long as needed to handle the conversation and, where applicable, meet legal obligations or address potential liabilities. Technical logs depend on the hosting configuration. We do not profile you or make automated decisions about you.
